Things that disturb me today

That I felt really good when I read "Hecklers Cause Coulter to Cut UConn Speech" when I opened up the Drudge Report today. I try to be a better person than that.
That this headline and picture (go to www.drudgereport.com to see it)
SANTA ON A NOOSE; DISPLAY UPSETS NEIGHBORS... made me think, again, about how no one has a f***ing sense of humor or perspective. Okay, maybe I'd feel different if I was the mommy of a 3 year old--different priorities. I get that. But unfortunately the neighborhood outrage played right into something I'd been thinking about half an hour ago about the whole PCness of the holiday season nowadays, difference, Denis Leary, and reindeer named Tupac, Biggie, Dre, Hammer, Diddy ....(http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/merry_f_in_christmas/index.jhtml).
That I'm even a little bit curious about how Lionel Ritchie's daughter Nicole is sooooo blond.(Sail on, sugar, good times never felt this good). And now I'm wondering why it is the JJ from Good Times is what I remember least from that show, but whenever I hear the phrase "good times" it's all I can do to keep the theme song from running through my head. But back to the question: why am I even curious? That's disturbing.
