The failure of my laptop (IT has it) and a major (like, do you want tenure or not) issue means I'll be off the map for awhile--just too much to do. I'm not in any kind of trouble, except that 28 hour days would make my life much easier.

Date: 2005-12-07 01:05 am (UTC)First, please let me apologize for posting this to a thread that is completely off topic, but I have not been able to find a direct address for you.
If you remember, many years ago I promised you a painting of a wishing well, with Ms. Satin perched, in her dignified way, on the rim.
Even though it’s been some time, I would still like to make good on this promise, if you are still interested.
The trouble is that, in looking for good reference material for wishing wells, I have found many of them, and no two are alike. If possible, I would like to send these pictures to you, so that I may better understand the way you picture your wishing well. In addition, a flattering scan of a picture of Ms. Satin herself would be helpful, although not necessary.
Please feel free to contact me through my LJ: ladyportia1500
Many thanks. I look forward to this project, for many, many personal reasons that I can’t entirely explain right now.
Humbly,
-Portia
