Yes. They've cast Alex O'Loughlin as Steve McGarrett. I'm not sure if they've cast Danny Williams yet. I suppose it could be worse--they could have made Danny a Danielle. The problem, as I see it, among other things, is Kono/Zulu was the only actual Hawaiian in the show. The new one won't even have that.

O'Loughlin was good in Moonlight. Too bad that was cancelled. But I don't see him as being hard enough for McGarrett. I see a great resemblance between McGarrett and Horatio Caine and I just don't see O'Loughlin being able to cut that type of character.
