Mixed feelings

There's something disconcerting about being able to do a huge chunk of the Christmas gift purchases at the grocery store by buying gift cards, even when it is, in fact, what the recipients specifically requested.

Feels a little like cheating, ya know?

Not really...:) Mostly because "back in the day" you didn't have to have all your Christmas shopping done by two days after Halloween and stores actually *stocked* things to buy right up to Christmas eve. Frankly I'm surprised I haven't seen swim wear in some of the stores this week.
