On SCAToday someone posted photos from a recent event that happened in the incipient shire in Spain. So I went to look.

Soooooo glad I did. The photos remind me of all my pleasant memories of Spain (okay, except for the champagne and grapes New Years Eve) and none of the stuff I hated.

Mmmmmmmm. Soft cooing noises.

I went and looked at the pictures and said thoughtfully, and without thinking, "Wow, it looks like Southern California." When my ears heard what my mouth said, I blushed and added, "Well, that makes sense, seeing how Spain was colonized originally by Southern Californians."
