Summer Obsession

So, for the last few summers, family TV viewing revolved around two shows (to the point that when the season finales overlapped Pennsic it was considered some small compensation for the one stuck at home--whether it was me or Morguhn).

Then the *&%$@*^ FOX programmers moved Hell's Kitchen to run in the second half of the regular season. What the frack?

But, at least, just one last time, summer is summer because, in the word's of Cat Deeley,

So You Think You Can Dance?

Of course, they're screwing with my universe by running a regular season edition of that for the 2009/2010 season, but for now, all is right with my television world.

Ooh. We'll have to check out So You Think You Can Dance. Jules and I are totally obsessed with Dancing With the Stars, and are in withdrawl.

In my opinion SYTHYCD is better, since all the dancers are primarily dancers. Do check it out--next week is the last "audition" episode, then on to Vegas for the cut to the Top 20, then it really gets interesting!

Edit: Actually, it's on tonight (2 hours) starting at 8--should be the last of the auditions, including one freakazoid who has come to every season audition--the only thing scarier than him is his mom. Honest. I wouldn't kid you.
