Dear Person or Persons Unknown:
Thank you for the little red pills (not to be confused with the new law-enforcement approved substitute, which has really even worse psychotropical side effects than the original).
Thank you for my being able to breathe.
Being able to move my head without pain.
For feeling a little less like my face is falling off.
For the nightmares, shakes, and other foo, not so much with the thanks.
In balance--breathing and lack of pain wins.
So, thanks. Really.
Sincerely,
Meirwen

Date: 2009-02-26 03:22 pm (UTC)Have you looked into Zyrtec?

Date: 2009-02-26 04:10 pm (UTC)Zyrtec is a long acting allergy medication. Specifically an anti-histamine. If you have year long allergies or allergies that are acting up for chunks of time, and your nose is running like a faucet, this is what you want.
Sudaphed is relatively short acting decongestant. If you've got a cold or allergies and your nose is stuffed and your sinuses are clogged, this is what you want.
Two entirely different actions.
Again, apologies...it's just that I worked in a pharmacy for 5+ years and I have altogether too much personal experience taking antihistamines and decongestants, usually paired together for complete action.

Date: 2009-02-26 06:33 pm (UTC)I hate the suckers, but sometimes ya just gotta, ya know.
BTW, the hashbrown experiment sounds suspiciously like what I had at iHOP on Tuesday for Shrove Tuesday. Yup--we did it again.
Miss you--I hope to see you Saturday.
