Anyone who shares my concerns about the ecologically (un)friendly nature of K-cups should go back and read the comments on the original post--Green Mountain coffee apparently reads my LJ. Who knew.
(A very nice post--really, go read it.)

I admit that I was very unimpressed when those machines came out. Reusable or recyclable cups would be awesome. I liek the idea of the machines and the individual servings, but the cups were a huge barrier for me. Yay!

Date: 2009-01-19 04:06 pm (UTC)They do have the k-cup filter (which also allows you to use the coffee of your choice, not just "best sellers"), which is very reasonably priced. For home use I think they are a wonderful idea.

Date: 2009-01-20 03:01 am (UTC)They probably have someone whose job is Googling anything about them. I actually got an email from a TiVo rep once after asking if anybody had one and what they thought of it. And very cool to know that what you say might actually have an impact! Hoorah!
