aside from everything allready said an mp format compresses the data dropping out things that an algorythem says it dosent need. but it can never open up and get full depth. but even if you dont hear the highs and lows it will keep better as a cd buy a cd make coppys and keep that cd dry coolish dark and upright and it will last 20 years and allways be there to make another copy from.
