Fable is evil, okay?

meirwen_1988So the boy and Duchezz got to go to Summer's End. I am feeling Dicea, Katie, and Ekat deprived, but let's not be greedy (or so I tell myself, to little effect).
The upside was I slept--for the first time in months, I got more than 4 uninterupted (by nightmare, aches, etc.) hours of sleep. Like 10. Not kidding. In bed at 12:30 AM, out of bed at 11, after waking up and deciding I could just lay there. Girl puppy was asleep. Boy puppy was asleep. My kitty (finally well after a very scary sick period) calmly sleeping on the pillow beside my head, boy's kitty at my feet.
TV sucked, so around 5:30 I started to play Fable on the Xbox. Forgot to drink. Forgot to eat. Forgot to feed puppies. Forgot to feed kitties. At 2:30 in the friggin' morning I finally shut the evil thing off, fed the critters, and went to bed. Woke up at 10 all chirpy.
I am NOT the chirpy sort.
I needed it, I refuse to feel guilty about it (yeah, sure, snigger all you like--just because I was raised Catholic and ALWAYS feel guilty...),and my penance was the Bears losing by two points. Now it's back to the grind, but I actually feel like I can deal with the week.
