Still not Facebook
Sep. 19th, 2013 08:28 pmUmm. No. Your dramah is not my dramah. I have my own, thank you very much, and that is more than sufficient. Leave. Me. Alone.
Why do good things sometimes hurt so much?
Really. Yeah. (Totally unconnected from previous sentence)
Sometimes the life in my head is the only thing that lets me survive the life my body moves in. I've come to accept that. As Jed Barlett would say, "What's next?"
It was a gorgeous day today. Even when I was thinking about what a sucky day it was, I noticed the warmth with gratitude, the sunshine with joy, and the lovely wild asters of Autumn with profound appreciation. As I walked the dogs, I noticed that one confused wood violet had chosen to blossom. She was beautiful, and almost assertive. Unusual for a violet. I saw it all, and reveled in it.
The day, as a whole, still sucked. But, oh my goodness, it WAS a pretty day.
