My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is the fifth book in Caine's Weather Warden series. I loved the first two, but the third and fourth were increasingly disappointing (I think there was too much emotional angst and too little elemental butt-kicking for my taste). And maybe a bit too much soft porn and not enough car porn (man, oh, man can this woman write delicious passages about the beauties of fine driving machines! *bliss*).
This book reminds me why I fell in love with the series. It's still imperfect, but there is a "zing" to this installment that I found missing in the last two. I'm not terrifically happy with where it looks like things are going, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and put Thin Air on the "to read" list.
