The impulse to get my own computer has just ticked up the "to do" list rather strongly, after reading this, which
emt_hawk referenced in a post recently.
I do not work in Wisconsin, but I do work at a publicly funded institution of higher learning. We do not have the same rules as does Wisconsin, yet, I feel caution is appropriate. Time to put up better firewalls between professional and personal.
It makes me sad. Wisconsin's education system, at all levels, for so long was the apex of public education in America. Will the institution support him? I hope so. Is he right about the values of FOIA and its state equivalents? Absolutely.
Still, doesn't hurt to...exercise due caution, eh?
