Doomed, Doomed I Say
Oct. 12th, 2009 11:46 amOkay--as a 50ish, never worked in the computer industry, only know a little coding, Sci-Fi geek, I do pretty good in the whole computer savvy department. I have a pretty steep learning curve with software, am the "go to" person in the department (i.e., if I don't know how to fix it, call IT), etc.
So, why is it that I only figured out yesterday how to use Google's Reader to collect all the blogs I read together? And why do I solemnly believe that this will be a huge time suck and that I was better off considering it too much trouble to go to "Bookmarks" and click the individual links and therefore almost forget I even cared.
It's Flaxy's fault, by the way. If she hadn't linked us all to Glenn Greenwald I never would have even considered it.
Okay--time to get off the 'puter and go rake.
