This and that

The wormhole in the universe that allowed us wireless access has closed. Oh well--it was fun while it lasted. That means dial-up only at home, and since I'm only going in to work 2 days a week, we'll be harder to reach electronically. People will cope, I am sure.

Stayed up waaaaay too late reading Trading in Danger last night. It was just what I needed--interstellar travel and a interplanetary war. Looks like the second book deals with interplanetary intrigue, corporate skullduggery, and revenge. I can't wait!

I think I'll go to fight practice tonight for a little while, and then try to figure out how I can make it up to the local stitch and bitch on Saturday. There are transport issues, but we may be able to finagle something. I'd like to finish the red undertunic to wear next weekend. We'll see.
