Adventures in Driving
Nov. 17th, 2005 11:05 pmWell, I made it. Left half an hour late, arrived 3.5 hours late. Lackawanna, NY to Erie, PA usually takes about 2 hours. It took 5. Five. Sigh.
But I made it, then had to drive the last hour in Pittsburgh in the dark--much more adventurous than I'd like, and really don't want to think about it right now. The Daughter picked me up about 7:30 and we went to dinner and the momma had penne and chianti, and Daughter told me a MUCH easier way to get home, so it's all good.
Tomorrow is many sessions and then dinner with fiannaharper. Don't know when/if I'll get back on, but wanted to let those who worry know that all is well (and my hotel room is very nice).
