It occurred to me that I should give some context for yesterday's post, so...

And, just in case I thought I was misreading the situation, there's Tom DeLay to clarify it all for me--

"We promised the Schindler family that we will not let Terri die in vain," Mr DeLay said.

"We will look at an arrogant, out-of-control, unaccountable judiciary that thumbed their nose at Congress and the president."

Yeah, for refusing to interfer in an issue that the Federal Government has legislated as a State issue. Now, that's activism!

There's an old Polish man in the smallest nation in the world who is very much on my mind today.

He broke my heart by not being who I hoped he was, but that's selfish.

What is important is he is a man of courage, conviction, and dignity, and the world we know is better for him being in it. He is in my heathen prayers. I suspect he is a man who values prayer even if the divine I pray to doesn't line up 100% with his.
