Any doubts I had that Bones has jumped the shark were set to rest by the following exchange:

Temperance: Why would someone coat a blade with silver? It is a soft metal.
Jack Hodgins: They wouldn't. Unless it was Damascus.

WTF?

Yeah, yeah. That's what I get for hanging out with bladesmiths. But still, when they focus so much on getting the science right....

Seely Booth is an amazing guy, and Hannah is damn lucky to have him. Mrs. D. Boreanaz...not so much with the lucky, at least from where I stand.

didnt see it but taped it havent seen it in a while but I was disappointed from the begining since it was meant to be based on Temple Grandin and then they screwed it up with a love interest just Pissed me no matter how much I like Booth

There actually is a silver-copper combo that looks just like what we call "Damascus". However, I doubt it is what they were talking about.
