For my old college chum, who asked

Check out new userpic--me in my single digit jeans. There really is a little bitty waist under there, but the sweater hides it since sweaters aren't selected for the waist dimension. Some things, however, only a scalpel will whittle down.

Awesome.. Great job.. FWIW, when I had my chest reduction, I thought (and still do) that it was the best thing that I ever did. Losing weight, right before the surgery is a good thing. My insurance paid everything except the initial co-pay for the consulation with the specialist ($30).

You look awesome.. so does it feel awesome, too??

It feels...familiar. I was this weight for about 6 years (from the year before I met my Boy to when they started giving me hormones for the other thing). In some ways I just feel like myself again.

Morguhn is pushing me to get the surgery. I think if I walk in with my current (or even better) BMI and say I want it that they'll listen now (but not before). I weigh what I did back when, but my bust is 2 cup sizes larger. If I can keep the weight down for 6 months, and nature doesn't make it any better, I might see if surgery is an option.
