Oh, and I forgot
...we bought a house thingy during the great Massachusetts pilgrimage.
For the caffeine minded who sometimes visit, we have a new coffee maker. A spiffy new "That's Mr. Coffee to you" is sitting in our kitchen, test driven and everything.
Any doubt that the problem with the barely drinkable coffee was the machine is gone. Yup--20 year old Mr. Coffee machines do not make for the best brew, just in case you're as big a dummy a I am and hadn't figured that out on your own!
