For the record--egg whites, fat free faux egg stuff, and fat free cheddar, even with chili powdered chicken, onion, peppers and peach mango salsa, still tastes like faux egg and fat free cheddar.

I'm just sayin.'

There has been only one fat free cheddar that I like. And it's Wegman's brand sliced cheese for sandwiches. That tastes almost like regular yellow american cheese.

Cabot makes a fairly decent 50% fat free cheese. It's easier to find than their 75% fat free chesse. (I only ever treated myself to the Cabots because they are more expensive than other brands).

Yeah, this was Kraft shredded fat free cheddar. Yuck. I found the Cabot 75%. Definitely better--I had it on triscuits last night (and at 1 pt an ounce...). It's an experiment. Nobody has bitched yet (mostly, I think, cause they both feel like they could lose a stone....

I have to come up with something--mostly giving up sweets (which seems to be most people's problem) is no stress for me. It's the real dairy. That's killing me!
